SC questions union’s logic that it is getting discount because it places bulk orders
Why not buy 100% of the vaccines at discount instead of leaving the states to fend for themselves
Truthfully there is no point to letting the states handle their own vaccinations other than pettiness of the central government. The records would be easier and more accurate,it would be less costly, people wouldn’t have to suffer if state government is not able to secure vaccines due to some circumstances. This is a nation wide pandemic and it should be treated by the nation as a whole. The union makes the point of healthcare being on the state list but why make the people suffer for such a small issue even when the states are demanding the centre to take action and help with vaccinations. In case of a pandemic a united front is necessary.

ReplyDeleteWhen Delhi was breathing out of oxygen, delhi High court ordered centre to provide sufficient oxygen this happened for weeks but centre never supplied sufficient oxygen just to prove its rival wrong, even then the court didn't take any legal action. But irony is that we still believe judiciary will help us.
