An attempt to intimidate media, says opposition

The Supreme Court condemned the sedition cases so now our government is opting to raid media outlets. I read the Hindu daily and it along with Dainik Bhaskar are amongst the few national newspapers which criticize and denounce the government. The Hindu editor in chief has been threatened many times but the newspaper still distributes honest news. Why was only Dainik Bhaskar raided then if there are other newspapers which criticize the government? There's a very simple answer to this, Dainik Bhaskar is written in Hindi language. It can be read by the general public and is more readily available. Reproval of the Union by Dainik Bhaskar will have a bigger reach than other newspapers. BJP targets the less educated and gullible classes for vote bank. If these targeted populations read about the reality of the government’s abuse of power, BJP loses its vote bank. I hope after the incursions Dainik Bhaskar still opts to write the truth and enlighten the populace.
