 12 hour hunger strike across Lakshadweep for centre to immediately recall the island’s administrator Praful K. Patel

COVID-19 regulations were held up and people did peaceful strikes in their homes

I do not know what the centre is planning for Lakshadweep islands but it can not be something good if they are ignoring the island population’s demands to recall the administrator. I would speculate they have made deal with corporates to use the island and its resources to their advantage but nothing as such has been revealed yet. Since the day this regulation and administrator have been announced the islanders have been protesting against it. The centre should listen to them and either change the policy or leave their lands alone.
