A order from MHA challenge for the Supreme Court NewZ

 A order from Ministry of Home Affairs inviting non- muslims belonging to Afghanistan , Pakistan and Bangladesh residing in Gujarat , Haryana , Punjab , Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh to apply for citizenship is becoming a focus of challenge for the SC

A petition is filed against the order said “the order utterly discriminates and deprives a class of persons namely Muslims”

Our ministry openly passed an order which gives citizenships to the refugees which are not muslims. This is just plainly discriminatory against one religion and a breach of the Indian Constitution. Article - 15 of our Constitution clearly states that it is prohibited to discriminate on the grounds of race , gender , religion and caste. India is a secular nation. We supported secularism 74 years ago during Independence and now our government is disregarding it without a second thought. Tolerating a government disrespecting the base on which our country gained freedom and developed is simply encouraging such politicians to exploit our nation.
