Eminent personalities write an open letter against the union government NewZ

 187 eminent personalities accused the government of reneging on its moral and constitutional responsibilities in an open letter

These personalities include academics, activists, authors, film makers and professionals 

The accusations confronted the union government’s disregard of citizens’ fundamental rights and in general casual behaviour towards the constitutional rights and laws. In this open letter they rightfully held the BJP government responsible for the surge of second wave of the corona virus in India due to centre’s lax and petty vaccination policies. This open letter is a much needed force against the government and their oppressive decisions. I hope more people come forward to openly question and disagree with the union government. We have a moral and constitutional right as citizens of India to hold our government accountable and they are mandated to answer us. People should take advantage of this power and check themselves whether the government is abusing their power.
