Eviction of settlers in Assam issue NewZ

Congress MP from Assam slams evictions of thousands of settlers from 77,000 bighas by the state government

A violation of Article 21 and 39 of the Indian Constitution due to the eviction being in a dire time of COVID-19 crisis

More than 200 houses belonging to migrant Muslims have already been uprooted by the BJP government in Assam. All of these settlers are not muslims but majority of the targeted ones are. Now whether this is a deliberate action of the government one cannot say because even speculating or speaking up against the government is a crime against the nation these days. But I will say this , eviction without advance notice and no promise of dwellings elsewhere is illegal. Violation of the Indian Constitution is illegal. These mass evictions should not be happening in this Corona virus crisis. The lockdown is still active in so many states and the Assam government is now removing people from their houses. This outlandish behavior should be sujected to questioning by our Judiciary and civilians.
