This decision honestly has been a long time coming and the Catholic church has taken way too long to address this issue. Priests being pedophiles and masking behind their clergy privileges is a big issue. Every year vast number of cases come forward regarding sexual harassment by priests. I do not get how the Catholic church ignored this issue for so long but I’m glad they at last addressed this. I hope it’s actually executed and this vile crime can be minimised.
