Stop Islamophobic content in social media NewZ

A plea was filed in Supreme Court to restrain online platforms from carrying Islamophobic content

Direct CBI or NIA probe against Twitter

This petition was mainly filed to shed light on people using social media platforms to stir up anti- Islam emotions. One main reference shared was the hatred that poured on Twitter regarding people blaming the whole Corona Virus crisis on Tabhighi Jamaat gathering at Nizamuddin in Delhi in 2020 and how the government did nothing to correct them. A portion of the population is still irked about this gathering  one year later. This blame the ones who didn’t know better ploy is childlike. When this assemblage occurred there were no lockdown or covid restrictions in force. These people and the Muslims as a collective community can not be blamed for the first wave of Corona virus in 2020. This plea raises the right questions as to why Islamophobia or attacks on Muslims are brushed aside or in some cases even encouraged. Kumbh Mela 2021 happened even in the middle of the second wave of the virus surge when thousands of people were dying daily round the nation. Why did twitter not influx with hatred on the Kumbh Mela or why did our Central government not ban it? I’ll take a very on the mark guess on that one , because this was a Hindu pilgrimage. Muslims being clueless is more criminal than deliberate Hindu actions in this country. This is a shame to our secularism and disrespect of the very base our Constitution was build on.
