 Supreme Court demands details regarding schemed for orphaned children from the union govt. 

Asked why the scheme is still not available when it was announced in the press

The funding is to be done through PM care funds and the government is claiming that finding records of orphaned children all over the nation is proving to be a more time consuming task than estimated earlier. I myself do not believe this excuse as records regarding deaths due to Covid are very detailed even if one disregards the people who did not get tested. I think they are just postponing the use of funds so that they can be used for something else in benifit of the government. I think this was all just a ploy to show through the media that the BJP government is trying their best to help people even though they are not coming through on their promises.
