Israel and Palestine Issue NewZ

 The conflict between Israel and Palestine has prevailed for centuries. One cannot determine what specific incident ignited the animosity but it has led to the loss of many lives. When these tensions again rose in 2021 I ignored it. Neighboring nations do tend to have apprehension between them. Then the tension gave rise to bombings and I was curious as to what led Israel and Palestine to drop bombs at each other. I read up on the issue and here are some conclusions I came to: 

1. First and foremost I want to make it apparent that I side with Palestine. Not on who started it or who should get the land but on who is currently wrong. The why I side with Palestine will be clear by my other points. 

2. Israel was made by the allies       (mainly the USA) after the Second World War as a safe residence for the Jews. The Jewish community had been left to shreds after the ‘Nazi final solution’. They did not deem Europe safe anymore and were wary of everyone. Hence, Israel came into being. The idea was supported around the globe and Palestine land was given to the Jews to lay foundations for Israel. 

3. Israel is now the most militarily advanced country with countless defense mechanisms seen nowhere else in the world. It is heavily funded by the US, Canada, Britain, and France. The USA even made laws to ensure that Israeli companies and products are actively promoted in their country. Israeli commodities cannot be banned in the USA. MOSSAD, the Israeli intelligence agency is the most accomplished on earth. 

4. Palestine on the other hand is a small nation. Palestinian Afghans are the major ethnic group in Palestine. They have mostly fought with Israel in the past over the issue of Jerusalem, one of the oldest cities in the world, considered sacred to Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Jerusalem is the capital of Israel but the Palestinians have always believed it to be a part of their land. This can be a conflicting topic as the whole land on which Israel resides belonged to the Palestinian community. 

5. This year however the dispute has given rise to something worse. Due to some social media videos surfacing about Israeli people beating a Palestinian man in Gaza action ensued. This fighting gave rise to Palestine dropping bombs on Israel most of which were deflected easily by Israel. In retaliation, Israel also started dropping on the Gaza strip. These bombings by Israel went on for around 11 days. Over 4000 Rockets were fired by Israel. In the end USA and other countries had to urge the Israeli Prime Minister to stop. Around 227 Palestinians were killed among which 64 were children. Schools and homes were obliterated in these bombings. 

6. After the firing ceased Israel still did not stop their elimination of Palestine. They began baiting the Palestinians to commence the fight and once they took the bait Israel started on their mission to diminish Palestine. 90% of Gaza patients requested for urgent medical treatment were rejected or ignored by Israel. Out of 191 patients, only 13 have been approved to leave Gaza. The next step was to arrest Palestinians in the name of extremism. Currently, 4,850 Palestinians are held in Israeli prisons. 225 are children, 540 are administrative detainees and 41 are females. People are being snatched away from their homes and their land is getting occupied.    7.World media is turning a blind eye to this because the major superpowers are funding this ethical cleansing. Not all facts are being shown when the issue is reported in the media. The only way Palestine can ask for help or voice what is actually occurring is through social media. This is why many Palestinian social media influencers have been detained by Israeli police. Any celebrity posting about the cleansing is being warned. Bella Hadid, a supermodel of Palestinian ancestry has lost deals with brands such as Dior for using her platform to raise her voice against Israel. 

This is genocide and abuse of power. This is what the Nazis did to the Jews. Israel needs to be stopped. People have to stand against this tyranny.
