 Anganwadi workers raise voices against the Centre's orders on ‘Poshan’

Poshan is a tracking app which the government launched to trace the supply in government schools or Anganwadis. The response was abysmal so Union threatened a cut in the pay of workers if they do not use the application. Workers are protesting in Haryana, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh against the threat. Anganwadis workers have asserted that they do not have any qualms with the app and would happily use it if they are provided with mobile phones. Many Anganwadi workers do not have digital mobile phones which are suitable to download the application and the others are questioning the government over who will pay their recharge bills. This is a viable concern, one which the government ought to answer. Threatening the public and not listening to their pleas is becoming the new norm of the BJP government. The government is made by us ,for us and it must listen and answer us.
