I have been continually astonished by how much the BJP government priorities the agenda of a Hindu nation over all else. Suggesting a revamped Kanwar Yatra to raise the faith and morale of the Hindu community amidst the pandemic is an appalling decision. Prime Minister Modi recently praised the UP Cheif Minister for his applause-worthy governance in the Covid-19 second wave. I laughed at that article when I read it in the newspaper. BJP government gave a green flag to Kumbh Mela, to win seats in the panchayat chief elections in UP they promoted violence, they dismiss dispense of corpses in Ganga and now they recommended a symbolic yatra to revive beliefs. How is this good governance? What standards has our nation reached to call this governance?
