Administration issues tender for 370 structures on beaches, lagoons despite warning from experts 

Marine biologists and islanders are strongly disapproving of the administration. Lashadweep islands have a fragile coral system and this new plan will pollute the waters consequently destroying the corals. Without the corals, marine life will take a severe hit. This new plan is to commercialize the island and make it a corporate junction. Local businesses and cultures will be gradually engulfed. The population of Lakshadweep is completely against this and the administration in general. I can not find any fault in these protests. If my government made a delegation to exploit and make money off of my homeland I would too reject it. Islanders do not want more tourist opportunities, hotels, villas, lagoons, or any form of disruptions in their daily lives. They are making it very clear that they are content with their lifestyle and do not want to transform Lakshadweep into a commercial island. BJP established administration is repeatedly going against their wishes. The BJP government just wants to profit off the island. We all need to stop this.
